Originally used in larger sizes as
a Scottish dapping fly for both brown trout and sea-trout, the
Loch Ordie (or "Wee Loch Ordie" as it is sometimes
known) can be used both as a dry fly or as a wet fly on a
traditional loch-style multi-fly rig. Tends to be good as a
bob-fly in this latter style when fishing a fairly heavy wave
from a drifting boat. |
