One of the all-time
great brown trout killers on northern Scottish lochs, it is
usually employed as the bob-fly on a three-fly cast. Works best
in a good wave. It has been successfully transferred to New
Zealand and South Africa stillwaters for all species of trout,
usually with the body ties slightly slimmer than the traditional
Scottish dressing.
