This is an anytime
fly. It imitates a caddis larvae. It is best fished slightly
upstream and allowed to drift below you on a tight line. Allow
the fly to lift and remain suspended from the bottom for a few
seconds at the end of each cast.
The tail fibred should extend a
short distance beyond the eye. They should divide like antennae
but I think they imitate small twigs. taper the hackle high in
the front, low in the tail.
